Understanding the Site
The Durupınar Noah’s Ark Site rests at approximately 6,200 feet in the shadow of Mount Ararat, which rises to 16,854 feet above sea level. Nearby Little Mount Ararat reaches 12,782 feet. This is the larger landscape in which the reconstructed formation sits.
RL Create3D turned Noah's Ark Scans’ 2019 drone photographs into a to-scale 3D model you can interact with, inspect, and consider. Noah's Ark Scans continues its field research with Turkish scientists at Sivas Cumhuriyet University’s Department of Archaeology, using geophysical surveys and archaeological analysis to investigate the formation above and below the surface.
The biblical account records that “the ark rested … upon the mountains of Ararat” in Genesis 8:4. This presentation offers the landscape and model for exploration alongside that continuing research.

The settings were selected once, and the project ran straight through to completion, delivering an export-ready model.
The displayed reconstruction was built locally on a Mac mini M4 with a 256 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, and a 2 TB external SSD. The source photographs, working files, and finished model remained entirely local throughout processing.
